Can
you believe the kids are going back to school already? We all had a blast this
summer, but now it’s back to reality. Summer flew by way too fast.
Now
we’re standing on the threshold of a new school year, and with that realization
comes a certain requirement: back-to-school shopping. Wishing we were still on
the Gulf right about now. Normally I don’t mind shopping—I love it, actually.
Back-to-school shopping, though…I could live without it.
But
if we were in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach, I could at least relax a little
more—the white-sand beaches of the Gulf provide amazing stress relief. And
since we’d be out shopping anyway, why not indulge in a little extra Gulf Coast shopping? I could stand
to ramp up my beachwear (our fall beach getaway isn’t too far off).
It’s
just more fun down there. We shop somewhere like The Wharf or SanRoc Cay, and
then have a little lunch. Just walking around in those areas is enjoyable. And
let’s not forget the Tanger Outlets in Foley—brand names and great deals make
it the ideal school shopping location.
