Now
that the temperature is finally cooling down a bit, I’m ready to heat up my
exercise regimen. I always find this so much easier in the fall. All summer
long I find myself putting off the idea of walking, jogging, or doing much of
anything physical outside simply because of the heat. The cooler weather is
inspiring me.
So
is our fall vacation in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach. Because there isn’t
anything else that calls to my physically active self quite like the promise of
a breezy walk along the white-sand beaches of the Gulf Coast. And that’s just a
starting point—especially when vacationing at Gulf Shores Plantation.
Condo
amenities are a wonderful thing when you’re looking to exercise during
vacation, and the Gulf Shores resort has plenty. The tennis courts are my
favorite—eight tennis courts, to be exact. I love being able to strike up a
tennis match with my hubby. The basketball court is fun, too. And let’s not
forget about the Plantation’s workout room, which is a great place to get back
into (or maintain) a fitness schedule.
I’m
going to throw golf into the mix here, too—it’s outdoors, it’s physical…it
counts. Plus Kiva Dunes is located right next door to Gulf Shores Plantation.
You simply can’t pass up this part of the vacation.
And
when all is said and done, there are always seven pools to retreat to for a
cool-down, including an indoor pool for those cooler fall days.
