Christmas is Over, and I’m Dreaming of Spring Golf

Ah, Christmas at Gulf Shores Plantation—now that was a holiday to remember. Waking up on Christmas morning to a Gulf-front view was worth it all by itself. Wish we could’ve stayed to celebrate the New Year on the Gulf (the Flora-Bama New Years Eve Bash sounds like a fantastic way to start off 2013), but the fun has to end sometime.

So it’s back to reality—but not for too long, because pretty soon we’ll be planning our spring golf vacation. Of course we’ll book a Gulf Shores Plantation golf package. Not only will we be staying in top-notch beach-front accommodations, but we’ll be right next door to our favorite Gulf Shores golf course: Kiva Dunes. It’s right on the Gulf, it’s scenic and challenging, and it’s literally a short walk from the resort.

But the great thing about booking a golf package is we can design it however we like. Certainly, Kiva Dunes will be on the list of courses to play at least once—but there are eight other Gulf Coast golf courses to choose from, and they are all fabulous.
