I’ve never been a big fan of camping. Dealing with mosquitoes and other bugs, showering in a public restroom (if there’s a shower at all!), cooking food by campfire…it’s just never appealed to me. Typical one-bedroom hotel rooms are a little better, but not much—many still lack a kitchen, and the space issue isn’t ideal for long stays.
A vacation getaway does not have to mean getting away from the comforts of living. If you stay with Gulf Shores Plantation, you won’t feel like you’re missing anything: two- to five-bedroom fully furnished condos with functional kitchens equipped with everything from major appliances to dishes and utensils. You even get bed and bath linens, and cable TV—which is how a week-long (or longer) vacation should be spent! I might be willing to give up internet for the week, but that’s as close to “roughing it” as I’m willing to get.
Gulf Shores Plantation has lots of condo options, and even beach cottages. Check them out here.
